Congrats - nice car!
My Fusion (bought new) has been great, 93K and only one repair needed - a new t-stat. The OEM stat, as I'm sure you know, had a weak spring and after about 50K they would run a few degrees too cool and throw a CEL.

Sweet car! If you put your foot in it while you`re going 30-40mph,they`ll break the tires loose,they have an awesome upper rpm powerband,almost like a 2-stroke dirt bike!!

2000 Honda S2000 with 2.0L normally aspirated engine developed 240 HP. Yes, its max horse power is at near 9,000 RPM. 14 years later no 2.0L normally aspirated engine generates more than 200 HP.

Nope, she wanted to downsize from the Grand Marquis. The only reason we had the Grand Marquis was for my grandparents who are both passed now. The new Taurus is pretty close to the same size as the Panther chassis. If the Falcon was sold here, that would have been on the top of the list.

They are close in exterior size, but the Crown Vic is way easier to drive. IE - you don't feel claustrophobic with the ridiculously oversized center console in a crown vic, and you can actually see out of a crown vic!

Nice jump; just like we went from 99 Odyssey to 2012 Acura TL. Some people are going to tell you that you should have looked at other makes for $35K but ignore them. It is a personal decision and you don't owe it to anybody to explain it.
Great looking car! I really like the looks on the Fusion and the darker colors make them look even better.

Reviving a slightly old thread, but my dad just got a 2014 fusion hybrid as he is traveling from ind to wis every week for his new job. Absolutely a great car and with the hybrid setup the gas mileage on the highway is amazing. He pushes 52mpg on the way home.
