Hi guys,
I have a problem with my 1990 Toyota pickup concerning the above mentioned subject.
every once in a while the brake light oil light comes while driving and then will go out after a few minutes.
I placed one of those voltage meters that go in the lighter plug to monitor the voltage and low and be hold, when these lights come on my voltage drops to 12.2-12.1.
The voltage goes back up to 13.7 - 13.9 after a few minutes 5-15 and then it won't do it again for days.
I realize the car is old so i wanted to know if you think it is the alternator/regulator on it's way out or maybe a wiring problem?
Battery is fairly new and voltage is good, i charge it at home when i get back to make sure it is fuly charged but battery is holding charge.
