Prime Guard POF2500 - Cut Open

So the shop across the street put this on my work truck (2015 E-350 5.4L). I think it was on there about 8-9k. This filter was considerably smaller that what OEM puts on the truck. Enjoy

Man, there is something about that filter that just doesn’t seem right. Maybe it’s the size or the sense I get that it’s a cheap knock-off. But it seemed to hold up just fine. Hard to argue it’s a bad filter if it lasted that long and didn’t tear.

That Napa platinum looks real beefy! Sad it's specs are better. None the less, a good filter. I've read that they are good for fuel dilution.

Filter consolidation with downsizing a common practice with quick lubes and some indies.

Filter construction pretty typical of the jobber tier filters with this coo. Here's the same filter in unused form.
