Last two oil changes were performed by my local Cadillac dealer. They charged $30 for each oil change. Used this filter, which honestly looks to have held up well for 5500 miles. They did strip my drain plug however as I discovered when I changed it myself a couple weeks ago. Thankfully the threads on the pan itself were okay. Oil filter must have also had a few ugga duggas going on bc that sumbihtch was on tight.

New oil that went in was Valvoline 5w30 R&P with an STP Extended S3387AXL filter.

A day or two after I changed the oil, I got an email with a coupon for a $19.99 oil change—mixed feelings because that’s an incredible deal, but also difficult to trust them when they strip drain plugs and tighten oil filters like it’s a lug nut!

It’s an AutoNation Cadillac btw

Yeah $30 for oil and a filter and the labor isn't bad compared to many other places, even Jiffy Lube kind of places.

Checked my stealer page and lucky me I can print a coupon that brings the cost of an 8 quart change down to 148.23. I wouldn't even pay 48.23 unless I physically couldn't do it anymore.

Looks like it did its job. This oil filter is ~$4 at RA. I’ll run these at some point.
