Here is our UOA of PP in our 94 integra, which now has over 186k miles. The OCI was 7949 miles, of mixed driving. Averaged about 31 MPG of cold starts, town driving as well as some relatively long highway trips (30-50 miles). We had a short run of PP in this engine before this UOA, as we were running M1 in there before.

Lead and Iron seem a little high to me... My iron trended 1.15ppm per 1,000 miles. Lead was 1.377 per 1,000 miles. That was with Havoline DS at a 4,356 mile run. Silicon also seems a little high. Mine was 1.61 per 1,000 whereas yours is 1.761, but that might be splitting hairs. Still looks pretty good to me

Nothing to be concerned about. If you want to compare trends, here's mine: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubb...true#Post973168

Fair enough... could also be the kind of driving we do (more short trips/starts/etc.) perhaps...

Si was a bit high, but we were due for a new filter at this OCI. Hopefully this helps.

Na and K both seem a bit high, but I dont know if this is the oil's chemistry, as Ive not done any UOA on this oil before.

The car used absolutely none over the whole UOA, BTW.

Yeah that's what I was thinking after I posted that, that the difference in driving styles could have something to do with it, and also the fact that yours was almost 2x as long as mine. My air filter was brand new for my OCI as well (it was a Napa Gold, still in use today). My car didn't use any oil either, and I still think yours is a great report. Your B18 is still in great shape (no surprise)

napa gold, eh? How much did you spend? We had bought a "full" brand filter (Thai made, it is like a cheap knockoff maker of asian PM parts, I guess) last time, and that was what was in it. Prhaps it was not as good.

Its tough to get those round integra filters at a good price. Plus, though they have minimal leak in area in the interface area between the filter and the air duct, I dont think that it is that great of a design to ensure leak-free operations no matter what.

Do you recall how much you paid for the Napa filter? I'd like to get one of those next time.

I got it from Fleet Filter for $14.39+shipping. I have a Purolator (from 1998, must not be a big seller, lol) that I got at Advance earlier this year for around $15 as well. It was the last one on the shelf and the box looks older than time itself, but the filter appears to be in perfect shape so I'm going to use it anyways. I agree with the way they're designed but I think it also has to do with how well the filter goes into the tube. The K&N I used to have would be VERY tight and required two people just to get it in. The Napa Gold appears to be a little more loose but still shows low Silicon so I'm not worried.
