Looking for replacement rear calipers for my 2005 Accord.

On RockAuto, I can get Power Stop calipers for both sides (they come as a pair) for almost the same price as one new Raybestos rear caliper. They come powder coated red, which I'm not a big fan of aesthetically, will shoot some grey paint on them.

Granted the Power Stops are rebuilt.

Anyone with experience using Power Stop calipers? Thoughts?

I know of a few vehicles that used them with no issue. The problem was that the powdercoating didn't last more than a year and turned pink, some of them peeled. But as for the function of the calipers themselves, they were fine.

Any other choices? Compared to a engine or an alternator a caliper is not complicated to rebuild and has few moving parts.

Yes, plenty of choices.

The seals are torn, and the pistons rusted. So at this point, I think a whole caliper is in order.

Get the Raybestos Element3 all-NEW calipers. New is usually better than reman

The cool red color is the only reason to get the Powerstops.

Just ordered complete front brakes including calipers for my daughters vehicle. Went powerstop auto speciality as they were far more affordable than any other combination of parts. Can’t say yet how they are is the order just shipped.

Update. The powerstop auto specialty kit arrived and installed very nicely. Looks good, no complaints on install. A couple years ago I used the same kit on my 96 mustang to upgrade to Cobra brakes which didn’t not go as well- they had packaged the wrong side caliper in one of the boxes leaving my with two i dental calipers. Warranty through JEGS was easy, though.
