Any thoughts on which (Clarios? or Exide?) plant the Costco H6 AGM originated from?

Its a mystery without the country of origin on the top of the battery. I got an H6 AGM from Costco four or five years ago without a country of origin sticker...but all of the current ones the past few years will say Mexico, Korea, Germany, etc...or a combination of countries. LOL (I think it is actually from Germany, but slapped their Korea label on it by accident) So far it has been doing great, as has my Clarios from Germany and Korea. The German ones are presumably from their Varta plant.

Like the twin it replaced, it's most certainly a Clarios. Neither is from their Korean affiliates, which didn't become a source until years after 2015, and have distinct case styles. Nor is it a recognizably Exide case.

The three likeliest candidates are China, Mexico, and Germany, probably in that order.

But to them (Clarios), Interstate, and Costco, they're all practical equivalents, with the next shipment, wherever it may have originated, dictating what ends up on the rack.

What stands out to me is the Costco Tire Center barcode, meaning they've implemented an individual unit tracking system for warranty purposes.

Looks like it, the ones from the mainland or korea usually have a QR on the case. About half are from Germany here. I have had good experience with all except the Korea (Delcor?) ones.

1988 E150 4.9L. From Walmart, Everstart Maxx Lead Acid Battery Group 24F 12V Minimum 725CCA. My batteries typically last well over 10 years in this vehicle, the battery it replaced was a month shy of 4 years old.

The NAPA battery lasted 32. Disappointing for a 36 month warranty battery.

Nope. But I will find out.

Interstate AGMs are supplied by Clarios and I see Mexico, Korea, China, USA and Germany. Someone said they recently saw India too.
The German ones are made by Varta. Varta also supplies OEM to Mercedes, BMW and other German car makers. I've had good luck with the Varta and and the Korean made Clarios.

You may be able to extend the life of your batteries if you can connect them up to a battery tender with continous desulfation once or twice a month for an overnight or weekend session. I've had good luck with Battery Minder and Pulse Tech.

Battery in the RV was dead.. really dead. Made for a interesting 30 mile drive to Walmart. Old battery was from 6/19 Costcos Interstate. Usually change at 5 years but haven’t traveled much in 2 years. Just bought the cheap $80 for now.

Don't know about everyone else but I'll keep buying the Walmart Values till they fail.. not interested in watching PF. The one I got in the RV this weekend I need to fully charge it though like I usually do, this one seems to have a pause before it kicks it over. Have two others on the farm and no issues, longevity is to be determined.

No start condition in the 2021 Audi a few days ago. Car was used 3-4 days a week only, and always for longer than a hour per trip. Sometimes it didn't get use for a week or three. If so, I would give it a top off 7 ampere hours charge every 7 days with my dumb charger. Factory original 75 AHour Varta AGM battery got replaced with an AC Delco 80 ampere hour AGM. I was somewhat disappointed as I was expecting an 8-year endurance from such a good brand name.

Both the Vartas in my 2018 BMW M550ix are testing fine. But I do keep them on a Battery Minder tender when garaged. I am a big fan of using a quality battery tender with a continuous desulfation mode. Smart chargers are the only way to go. Regular chargers require too much monitoring to prevent over charging. I have 7 years on the Varta in my other BMW (branded AC Delco, but made in Germany by Varta), its testing fine too. I put it on a Battery Minder once or twice a week overnight.

The current AC Delco AGMs are mostly coming from Korea (supplied by Clarios). They seem to be of good quality as well. I have three of them in various cars, from Walmart. (Walmart AGMs are supplied by Clarios as well).

Yes, you are right. My new ACDelco AGM is made in Korea. Let's hope it lasts longer than my previous Germany made Varta.
