post your latest transmission lubricant change.

2002 Ranger 3.0, 5R44E automatic

In: Castrol Mercon V (4 quarts), Lubegard Platinum, Motorcraft Filter
Out: bulk Mercon V (last flush at Ford dealer) with Lubegard Platinum in it, original filter with 148K miles on it

Previously the truck had transmission flushes with either bulk Mercon V or BG full synthetic at 25-30K mile intervals. The pan had never been off before this filter change. The filter itself really didn't look nasty, and the pan was very clean with no layer of gray film like on most trans pans at that mileage. What little material there was had all been caught on the magnet. I am very happy with how the trans appears to be wearing.

2012 Honda Odyssey, 30,600 miles

Out: Honda DW-1

In: Honda DW-1

Single drain and fill. Fluid that came out was pretty dark, so I plan on doing at least one more drain and fill in the next 2-3,000 miles. Tranny shifts much better now.

98 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4: 300,000 miles

In: SuperTech ATF+4
Out: Whatever transmission shop used.

Changed this one at about 5,000 miles on the fluid. Had the transmission & transfer case both rebuilt with better internals.

Will change at 20,000 mile intervals as I do tow occasionally, and with 35's, I do it for the added piece of mind.

Oh and I also have an inline filter kit as well. http://www.cumminsperformanceparts.com/bdintrfikit1.html

I change that filter every oil change. It takes a Motorcraft FL1A. So between the filter and a quart of ATF to top it off...it's cheap insurance for a transmission that has to work EXTREMELY hard in my case.

2003 Acura TL
Out: 3 qts Z-1 with 36K miles on it
In: 3 qts Z-1
Drain/refill

One more time with my remaining Z-1, then once more after that with MaxLife ATF

2000 Acura 3.2 TL
Out: ~2.7 qts ATF
In: ~2.7 qts Mobil 1 ATF w/ ~1 oz. LubeGard red

173K miles on original transaxle. I do an ATF d&f like this every now and then (I think I've done it over a dozen times since I bought the car used in 2002). I used Amsoil ATF the first couple years, now more recently I've been using Mobil 1 ATF.

2010 Mazda 6:

-Castrol Import ATF
-LG Platinum

23,6XX miles. Old ATF looked brown, which seems to be pretty normal with a lot of ATF's these days.

My wife hit 60,000 miles on her '05 Merc. Mariner 3.0 last week. Due for an oil change, so I thought I would see if I could drain the ATF while it was up on ramps. Drain plug only needed some gentle persuasion and out came 4 1/2 quarts which still had a reddish color to it. Half hour to dusk and ran to AZ for Castrol Mercon (getting it done before dark was more important than getting it a little cheaper at AAP further away

. Replaced same amount. Not much residue on the drain plug and I'm fairly certain it was the FF (We bought the Mariner in '09 with 49,000 miles. Next OC, I'll try the diff. (but not at dusk).
Interesting thing about the drain plug being vertical on this transmission is that it makes a good mess splashing once it hits the pan. Wasn't expecting that. My wife always wonders why we go through so much kitty litter on days when I change trans fluids.

2005 Toyota Sienna (New to the family) 140,000 miles
Transmission - Full flush through the cooler line. Plus added a magnafine in the return line.
Out - ??? Dark Brown Atf
In - Amsoil ATF plus a bottle of lubegard red

Power steering - Full flush on jack stands fresh fluid in the reservoir, return line dumped. Turned wheel side to side until clean, then started the car (return back on reservoir) turned it side to side again a few times then did another flush and ended with the lubegard.
Out - ???
In - Maxlife ATF and a bottle of lubegard PS additive
Had a squeak a full lock that was still present in the middle of the flush, squeak disappeared immediately after the lubegard was added.

Differential - Drain and fill
Out - ???
In - Amsoil 75w90 Long Life

Transfer case - Drain and Fill
Out - ???
In - Amsoil Severe Gear 75w110

Engine oil - Wanted to flush out the old owners oil and do a cleaning run for 3,000 miles.
Out - ???
In - Nextgen 5w30 and 1/2 quart of kreen

2009 Ford Escape Hybrid 98,000 miles

Transmission - Drain and refill
Out - Factory fill (terrible drive train drag below 10*F)
In - Redline D6

2004 Saturn VUE, CVT

Out - 6 qts Valvoline synthetic CVT flud,
In - 6 qts Amalie synthetic CVT fluid

The Valvoline was almost clear with a slight yellow tint. The Amalie is red like regular ATF. IIRC, the Dex-CVT was green. Could be Valvoline didn't add dye and whomever makes the Dex-CVT stuff used green dye to differentiate it from regular ATF but this wasn't a concern for the makers of the Amalie.

1999 Dodge Caravan 41TE
