Post your latest small engine oil change

Beginning of the month I changedoil in my dad's JD x300 with the Kawasaki vtwin. I think I had put in 15w40 last year of some variety with a quakerstate filter.

Put in Super tech 10w40 and qstate oil filter

In my JD s240 with the same engine I drained out Chevron delo 10w30 with a qstate filter
Put in Pennzoil 10w30 platinum full sun and a Bosch premium filter.

Also changed the oil in my Honda pressure washer. Drained out whatever 10w30 I had in it and filled with Chevron delo 10w30

2019 Generac 16 kw standby generator
Age: 2 years. Total run time: 37 hours
Out: dealer's one year complimentary 5w-30 synthetic, Generac oil filter
In: Miles Lubricants 5w-30 synthetic, Generac filter

Noticed a little milky evidence of moisture in the drained oil, likely due to 12-minute weekly exercise runs. This is a good reason for annual oil changes even with low run time.

It still looked clean on dipstick, but not when I poured it out.

I'm not sure what oil I'll buy to use it in next.

Not an engine, but I changed the oil in my napa branded Schrader Bridgeport compressor. 5hp electric motor driving an inline 2 cylinder pump.

Out: Castrol non detergent SAE 30

oil is old stock from the late nineties. About 5 years on this fill.

Brand new Honda HRX217VKA lawn mower with GCV200 engine got first fill with Honda 10W-30 small engine oil that came in the box.
Husqvarna HU700H lawn mower with Honda GCV160 engine: Amsoil Small engine 10W-40 out and fresh back in

I was able to snag two quarts of VP Racing SAE 30 conventional Racing Oil for $5.00 each on amazon just now. Has 1700 ppm ZDDP and high P plus other additives. Is an API SJ oil. This will do supremely in my small equipment in the hot summer here in the South. Dunno why they had two quarts that cheap. Said only 2 left and after I bought them the price for more went up to $7.29. Nice catch because VP Racing has good products.

Kawasaki 21hp v twin, it was 2 years in but only 69 hrs on it. I thought there would be more hours but I was wrong. Used AMSOIL ASE 10w-30 and EaO10 oil filter. Took 44oz of oil. Just for curiousity sake I did send a sample off for analysis. The total hours on the engine is 696.3hrs. This is on an ExMark Laser Z HP 48" deck.

Bought a cheap Pressure Washer off Amazon.

Came with generic 10w-30.

After running for a few hours I dumped the oil and put in Amsoil 10w-40 marine. (Had it on the shelf)

I also took apart the "sealed for life" pressure pump and refilled with Amsoil Marine 75w90. (also on the shelf)

Although the pump is supposed to be lifetime lubed, it had a sticker on it that said "Use 85w90".

Push lawnmower with briggs 450 series engine got its first ever oil change today. Machine is 3 years old with little use.
Used suction pump to remove oil and filled with screwfix no nonsense brand of sae30.

Bad Boy ZT Avenger w/ Kohler KT740: Rotella T6 15W-40 and a Fram XG3614.

The T5 10w-30 I had in it only had ~25 hours on it but I like to change small engines at ~5 hours and ~25 hours. I think I'll probably keep this mower on a steady diet of T6 15w-40 from here on out. The 25HP Kohler doesn't sound like it's working very hard but it's pushing 850 lbs of mower + me around on a yard with a lot of slopes that I have to mow up/down.

I'll probably change the oil in the hydros with some synthetic Valvoline VR1 20W-50 around the 100 hour mark.
