Post your latest small engine oil change

Changed the generac 2200i’s oil for the second time. The first oil change, I ran a tank of fuel through her and changed it. It had lots of glitter. This last oil change was after 4 hours or so of use and still had about the same amount of glitter. I guess I’ll run another tank of gas through it and see if it improves any. I have a magnetic dipstick coming Friday That I will install immediately.

What are the specs on the Scag? My grandfather has an STHM from ~2000 or so. It's a 61" hydro with 22hp Kohler Command V-Twin. He mows about 8 acres weekly with it, and it runs fantastic. He bought it brand new, and it's a tank. I do recommend changing the hydro oil/filter and keeping the cooling fins on the hydro cooler above the engine clean.

Also from ~2000, 61" hydro but 23hp Kohler Command. Over 2000 hours on it. First hour meter stopped working sometime around 1200 hours, second one shows 1080 or so. It's a wild ride and the deck raise is definitely unique but the old Kohler and the hydros both work perfectly. Wife's family has owned this one since new as well and yes it's definitely built to last. I really like using it.

It is WAY better at mowing on slopes and you can raise the deck up so high it's basically impossible to get the deck hung up on anything.

Just changed all my OPE oil. Ihave a 13 HP honda pressure washer, Kawasaki 6 HP on a Snapper mower, a V-twin Honda 20 HP generator and a 10 HP B&s generator. They all got Mobil 1 10-40 high mileage and filters where applicable. Keeping it simple with one oil. Later the Yamaha powered golf cart will get the same. I'm in NE Florida and it gets hot here so that is what I was told to use, and have been using this for a while and no problems.

My old MTD cub cadet push mower got some loving. Oil was low so I topped up with some leftover PYB 5w30.

This girl i got new in 2008 and promptly knocked the air filter off as it stuck out to far. Since 2010 its been on and off using an old sock for a filter and housing. Well nothing for the last couple years now. The power more keeps ticking.
