My friend's dad was going to throw it out since it was sputtering. I fixed it up and it ran great afterward. I would've kept it for myself if I didn't already have my Toro.

In Rotella T6 10w30 seems to like it. Not sure how much longer it'll last the coil getting weak.

history of engine unknown. Aquired it for $30 at a mans sale. It has sat for quite awhile. I got a new platnium plug, new condensor, and a used muffler is what i have so far. I will get to that this weekend along with 'cleaning the points.
I will run it on lp vapor to get a few hours and the shell oil flush oci. Before i get carb rebuild parts..

Giant Vac walk behind leaf blower

Tecumseh OHH50 (OHV 5HP engine)

Out: Rotella T6 5w40
In: Rotella T5 10w30

I'm normally not a fan of Tecumseh engines, but these OHH engines are pretty decent. I found this leaf blower on the curb out for the trash a few years ago. A little carb cleaning and it runs like new. The oil was low and black when I got it, probably original.

Now it starts first pull, and hardly uses any fuel. Keep the oil full, splice a fuel filter into the fuel line, and they can be great engines.
