2017 Toyota Camry 101,902 miles. 5,500-6,000 on oil. Got busy and went over a bit but it’s ok.

My dad chose the Pennzoil this time and then I found the filter on sale at Lowe’s for $4 so couldn’t beat that. This is the first time using Pennzoil in this car.

2011 Toyota Tacoma Sr5 w/ 4.0 V6 I just bought. 127k miles.

Used car lot, they said they change the oil on everything before selling. Bought at 127k miles. Changed at 130k because that's what the sticker said. Maybe they changed the oil? Probably not. Had a valvoline oil filter on it that was insanely tight! Just moved to a different state and didn't have a claw type oil filter wrench ready. Filter o ring was also dry!

Drained hot, & used wheel ramps.

Kirkland 5w30 fully Synthetic
Toyota OEM oil filter

Project farm did testing, Kirkland oil was great. Same as Mobil 1 if I recall especially If you change it every 5000 miles/ lower interval. I do plan to change it every 5k miles. It's a PAO 3 oil if I remember correctly. Will have to check! View attachment 288083View attachment 288084

OLM was at 66 percent but I am old-fashioned and change around 4k, plus we are expecting an extended heatwave soon. Engine specs 5w30 but i run 10w30 in summer, 5w30 in winter.

I had my oil changed on a 2005 Ford Taurus SE. I used to just drop it off at my old time mechanic and he'd use a WIX filter and Supertech High Mileage.

After reading the 100+ page VRP thread, I decided earlier to this to jump on that bandwagon. That plus with the $5 rebate, VRP is only around $25 for 5 quarts.

Out was my first cycle of VRP and my mechanic used WIX filter.

He set me at 4k intervals but said I can go over. I think the vibe her seems to be I could go 5k. I changed at 4200 and he said i could probably go a little longer next time.

In 5w30 VRP + STP Extended life S3600XL. I just got the AutoZone deal since some have recommended the oil filter there (I've never bought oil filters before) and with the filter, the oil was the same price as Walmart.

Taurus has about 136.5k miles. Probably will take back for another oil change around 141k.

This car either consumes or leaks about 1QT every oil change. It was at full around 3k miles into the interval. I topped off with a quart of VRP.

2015 Fiesta ST with a bigger turbo

Out: Schaeffer 9000 5w30

Short run on this, maybe 1200 miles. I know it’s not objective at all but the engine ran VERY noisy on this oil. And when I drained it, it was very very thin. Thinner than any other oil I’ve drained from this cars sump (or so it seemed). It didn’t smell like excessive fuel but something was going on here. Maybe I got a mislabeled batch I don’t know. I didn’t feel like using one of my analysis kits on it

'24 Toyota Land Cruiser
Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30 out and in
OE Toyota filter

The vehicle was sold with 2 years of "free" oil changes, but between getting an appointment, either shuffling back and forth from the Dealer or sitting in the mob scene waiting rooms of the local Dealers, I just did it myself and saved the receipts..... Very easy service. I may even be using better oil;)
