Any clue why? Longer run on the OCI? different viscosity?

Neighbors was the on 0W-20 as recommended.

No clue why but I did notice when I used a OE AC Delco filter it didn't happen..It happens now because I'm using cheap Amazon jobber filters car is my work beater also noticed it with cheap Fram

Cartridge is probably a bit too long for the housing, and it gets compressed some when installed.

I have used the Rislone Hy-per Lube Oil Supplement as well. Engine sounded smoother and a little less consumption. I believe they have discontinued this product though.

Yup discontinued!!! picked up several on closeout @ $4 each

This did better job to quite down my 5.3 LSX engine better than Lucas oil stabilizer

I wasn't aware it is discontinued. My local NAPA, Advance, etc stores have it at regular price.

With prior vehicles over the last few decades, I always found success using Rislone.

Is that the “red block” 2.3 the SVO guys would use parts from? If I recall correctly, the cylinder head from a 4cyl Volvo could be swapped onto a Ford 2.3 SVO engine to gain airflow. Been several years though so I could be confusing it with another.

Anyway, always liked those box Volvos.

The OLM was 88%. All city driving.
I change the oil many times prior to reaching 10K miles.

Yes, it does.
No reason, really.

I'm not a thin or thick leaning person, just have more 5w30 on hand than 0w20 since the Palisade is a 2022 and i accumulated a small stash since purchasing it. I'll be using both (20 and 30) in the Malibu, i believe.

Is that the Swepco 502 Moly version?
If it is, it's $32 for a 16oz bottle at Amazon.

That Xado stuff is the most expensive I found..... around $64 for 12 ounces.
