I think this is the only SHELL full synthetic oil available in the U.S.. Used conventional and full synthetic for many years . Could get the full synthetic for under $2 a quart . :(

Wife’s 2020 Traverse 3.6L. 60k miles on car, 5k miles on oil.

Out: Mobil 1 5w-30, AC Delco PF63 filter

In: Mobil 1 5w-30, FRAM Endurance FE10575 filter

Funny story, I took it to the Auto Skills Center to put it on lift. Rotated the tires first to let the oil cool a little. While rotating the tires, I squatted to lift a wheel to put it into n the studs. Ripped the crotch on my pants to halfway to my knee. Already had all the wheels off so I was committed at that point. Finished the job getting crazy looks from everyone. Glad I don’t go commando!

2016 Triumph Street Twin

Out:
  • mix of Castrol Power 4t and Yamalube 10w-40
  • K&N filter
In:
  • Amsoil motorcycle 10w-40
  • STP S6607XL filter.
I’m taking a bit of a risk on the filter because I can’t confirm it’s approved for this bike. However, Fram’s website says their XG6607 works, and the STP is a direct replacement for that, so it should work. I guess I’ll follow up if it blows up…
