Post your latest oil change

2017 Nissan Titan 36,400 miles
Out: Rural King 0w-20 synthetic, Nissan filter
In: NAPA 5w-30 syn blend, Denso 150-2006 filter

I’m probably going to do a UOA when I drain this to see how my engine likes it.
Your Titan won't complain.

500 mile service on my PCX. On scooters i do oil at 50, 250, 500 and 1000 miles. Trans fluid at 500 and 1000. No oil filter just a nearly worthless oil screen.

Engine:
Out: Honda GN4 10w30

Trans:
Out: Factory fill
In: Pennzoil Platinum 10w30

Votex magnetic drain plug had less fuzzys than last time so that seems like a good sign. Trans specs the same oil as the engine. Both can be changed wit ha single quart.

And yes I realize I'm not meeting the JASO MB standard with this oil. I'm not really too concerned about it. This is a dry clutch scooter. I ran 2 previous PCX's about 5,000 miles on Amsoil Signature and they ran amazing when i sold them.

It's their CYA statement, and they assume a vehicle will be driven 10K+ miles per year. Never seen any oil filter degrade with time, including many cut open on this board that were left on for between 1 and 3+ years in low use vehicles - low use is key. Obviously, nobody should leave a filter on for 3 years and 30K miles, but that's been done too, lol ... by a few members here.

I know of a few cases where the filter was left on for around 5 years, and no degradation was seen. But yeah, if you're afaid of "old" filters, then swap away.

PS - How often do you change the oil since it seems you run that for more than a year.
Just to clarify my posting:

1. My OCI is once a year (new oil, new filter)
2. I just happened to drain 0.5 quart by removing the filter housing - and kept the filter (less than 2000 miles on it)

Now that my 2 year stash of rebate and sale oil was gone, I ordered a bunch of Quaker State Ultimate Protection today for $20.74 a jug. I love me some SOPUS oil at a great value.

Brother's 2023 Impreza sport hatch 5 speed, 1500ish miles.

Out: Factory fill

In: Pennzoil Platinum 0w20, OEM Subaru filter.

Votex stainless magnetic drain plug installed with the OEM style crush washer. Big undertray to remove. Something like 11 clips and 3 bolts. Pretty difficult to reinstall by yourself I imagine. Filter up top is sure handy though.

Second oil change on my PCX at 250 miles. 0.8 quarts Honda GN4 in/out. Plenty of crud on the Votex plug.
FA/FB Subarus raise the question on why every owner isn’t using a MityVac or something similar. Everything up top, about 10 minutes tops for whole change. The tiny bit left behind isn’t going to make any difference. 👍🏻
