Now that my 2 year stash of rebate and sale oil was gone, I ordered a bunch of Quaker State Ultimate Protection today for $20.74 a jug. I love me some SOPUS oil at a great value.
Have you ran that exact same oil from day one?2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid, 64086 mi, 4692 OCI

I also drained and refilled the trans for the first time. The factory fill ATF was really dark, almost black and had a burnt smell. I refilled it with 4.5 quarts of synthetic Dexron VI. I’m aiming to do another drain and fill at the next oil change.
I'm actively trying to talk him into using an extractor. He isn't quite as mechanically inclined and doesn't really have any tools. But with an extractor and possibly filter wrench he should be able to easily do his own oil changes at home.FA/FB Subarus raise the question on why every owner isn’t using a MityVac or something similar. Everything up top, about 10 minutes tops for whole change. The tiny bit left behind isn’t going to make any difference.
