Doing 2 here.

1) 2018 VW Atlas. 44,500 miles/4,200 mile OCI. Needed to change it before my wife took a long road trip or would have run it to 5K.

Out: 6L Liquimoly Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40, Mahle filter/o-ring/drain plug.

In: 6L Liquimoly Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40, Mahle filter/o-ring/drain plug. Should be good for a 5K OCI. Also always run a can of Liquimoly DI Jectron every oil change through the gas tank.

2) 2003 VW Passat W8 wagon. 115,000 miles/3,900 mile OCI. ~2K since adding HPL Engine Cleaner so time to dump it.

Out: 5.5L Liquimoly Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40, 0.5 qt Quaker State Euro 5W40, 2 qt HPL Engine Cleaner, 2x cans Liquimoly MoS2, 2x cans Liquimoly Engine Flush (that's a mouthfull!), Hangst filter/o-ring/drain plug.

In: 9L Liquimoly Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40, Hangst filter/o-ring/drain plug. Should be good for a 5K OCI. Also always run a can of Liquimoly Jectron every oil change through the gas tank.

All oil change supplies will go back to FCP Euro for store credit using their Lifetime Replacement Guarantee with the wipers from W8 and a bottle of Motul RBF600 brake fluid makes it about a $225 credit which will cover the next services on my Sportwagen (DSG, Haldex). Love FCP! Return shipping using Pirate Ship should be around $20.

2021 Tacoma 2.7L/4x4 / 2TR-FE
Out: Toyota dealer house oil
In: Kirkland 5W-30
Miles: 22,650

I noticed the engine was a little smoother/quieter with whatever the dealer used (esp. at higher RPM after the VVT-i switchover) compared to the M1 EP 0W-20 I had used previously so I decided to see if 5W-30 had the same effect. This engine is currently spec'd with 0W-20 but originally called for 5W-30 when it first came out about 20 years ago. I'm curious if I'll notice a slight MPG loss.

Also did our other car at the same time
2012 Toyota Yaris 1.5 1NZ-FE
Out: Mobil 1 EP 0W-20
In: Kirkland 5W-30
Miles: 56,980

One other note: first time using it... this Warren oil smells a lot more pungent than M1

I noticed that too with the 0W-20.

You put a new drain plug in with every oil change? Why?
