Changed my 09 Scion xB today. 153k. Engine was a severe oil burner when I bought it at 146k, but piston soaks and some short interval changes have dramatically improved it.
Out: Harvest King 0w-20
In: Provident 5w-40 dual rated synthetic, Supertech 3614 filter.
This is an experiment to see if the thicker HDEO will reduce consumption and continue to clean up the rings and drain holes.

2019 Honda Pilot EXL AWD. 40% olm remaining did not reset. Will wait till 15%. Taking a 1500 trip to Florida. Previous fill had 4K miles with a bunch of idle time.

5k intervals on these cars (actually on all my cars)
2019 Ford F-250 reg cab 4x4 plow truck at Monroeville location. 52k on it. They use Syn blend 5w30 and Auto Extra filters. Oil and filter had 7,700 miles on them.
Put M1 5w30 and another Auto Extra 618-51372 on. New wipers, brakes still good. Sent to our local alignment shop also since front tires already cupping. Boss and I put 4 sumitomo tires on this truck at 44k.

Popped a cam position code/EPC as soon as I fired it up. Cleared it. Who knows...maybe related to starting up on ramps/at angle/oil pressure. #VWlyfe #6/72B2Bwarranty.
Shipped oil change kit back along with a cabin filter, wipers as well as an oil filter/plug from the Sportwagen for a full refund with FCP Euro. Return shipping free using PayPal.

Out: Amsoil 5W-30 (unknown if OE/XL/SS), Amsoil EA15K50 oil filter.
OCI: 4900 miles.
In: 5qts Kirkland 5W-30 syn and 1qt Mobil 1 5W-30, PF48 filter.
Considering the owner will never go over 5k on an oil change, I thought Amsoil is a little overkill for 5k intervals imo, I am much happier using Kirkland for a port injected N/A pushrod motor for 5k. I did put the sticker a 123,000 which is slightly over 5k (oops..).
