I helped my son do his oil change on his 2002 WRX on the weekend, as usual he went with Rotella T6 5w40, and this time he went with a Mobil 1 filter (there was a Fram Ultra on there before) He had right around 7000 km on the oil and his engine only consumed about a half liter of oil during that time, so he has a rare non oil burner. His engine and turbo are original too, with 290,000 km on them!

The local deal is exclusive to them and close to gm. Old dealer. Having warranty work done is why dealer changed it and it was my free change. Climate control head unit being replaced tomorrow.

Roughly 3200 miles on the truck.
This truck was plagued with collapsed lifters, so I keep th OCI shorter. The truck also see plenty of towing and hauling.
