Friend's 2011 Chevy Impala 152k

2018 Nissan Frontier
Out: Supertech synthetic 5W30 and Mobil1 Filter
In: Supertech conventional 5w30 and FVP Reliaguard filter.

Using up my leftover stash of oil and filters from my dearly departed 1999 Frontier. (departed due to transmission, not engine problems). The off-brand filters have the same base stamp (champion labs?) as the Mobil1 with a rubber anti drainback valve instead of silicone. Should be more than fine for the next 5k miles.

2020 F-150 2.7 ecoboost

1351 miles

Drained: factory fill
Factory filter

Filled: Shell Rotella gas truck 5w30
motorcaft FL2062A

Wanted to do an oil change before my vacation. Plan is roughly 2500 miles just on vacation.

Side note here's a comparison between the factory FL2062 and the FL2062A which superseded it. Kind of interesting difference

2014 Toyota Prado 3.0L Turbo Diesel

I normally blend my own as I am fortunate enough to work in the lubricants industry.

However, the last 2 changes have been special, To prove shelf life of oil is a fallacy my last 2 oil changes have been with an oil 11 years older than the engine it has gone into - found in distributor's warehouse, batch dated 13 May 2003. Tested it before putting it in and did a UOA after last service. No issues and none were expected in any case.

2016 Volvo XC90 with 76,5XX miles. As posted elsewhere, it started to consume oil a few K miles ago. I added a can of BG EPR, ran it for 20 minutes at 1200 RPM, the changed the oil and filter.

In went Mobil 1 5W30 High Mileage and a Wix filter. Hopefully the oil consumption improves.

1997 Honda Civic HX, 226,176 miles.

Out: Castrol Extended 5w-30 & Fram XG3593a
In service just shy of 3,000 miles. Dumped early to change the PCV valve (it's right above the oil filter).

In: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 & Fram PH3593a
Went thicker to see if it would help with the oil leak I have (yes I am actively changing seals, ect to fix them).
