Post your latest oil change

2018 Ford F-150 4x4 STX with 2.7 ecoboost.

8100 miles, out goes the factory fill.

In goes 6 qts of Quaker state 5w30 synthetic with some filter. I didn't watch that closely it's my assigned fleet truck.

Was in Odessa to take care of some business and while around civilization got a po and went to Midas for an oil change. I was there for 20-30 m8 utes at most.
Also got a new air filter, due to dust loading.

The computer was going to take it past 10k despite a lot of rough slow dusty roads. And 315 hours of engine run time.
That's an average of 25 mph for the interval, no sample taken. Old Oil was black new oil was golden.
I usually run Texaco gas in it and it does pretty good in the Thunderdome.

I would imagine you are on the oilfield? Fleet trucks are usually having a tough life driving them on the county roads lol

I have worked production Health and Safety in the North Slope of Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico and now west Texas.
My previous fleet truck was a 2007 with the 4.6, it lasted me a while,I only replaced tires , 1 set of shocks and struts and it had hail damage but was running well when I turned it in where it was eventually auctioned. It's how you drive those rough roads. No reason to hurry I am not a firefighter.

Good lord I haven't seen oil that cheap around here since Smitty's was at Kmart. Ironically, our tsc is in part of the old Kmart building. I should go check it out to see if my stores doing that sale.

I don't listen to real well. What was your reason for NOT dosing RLI with 9100?

The car is 19 years old. That makes it old enough to drink (in Canada, at least... which is close enough to home). No well drinks here. We're celebrating with top shelf all the way!

While I haven't owned it for but a year, I'm pretty sure this is the first change of the trans, diff, and power steering @ ~44,000 miles. The oil was changed last year, maybe 1,250 miles ago.

2013 F150 5.0 @ 109781 miles

Out: Castrol Edge 5W-30 / Fram Ultra 10575
OCI was 12935 miles over 11 months

In: Castrol Edge 5W-30 (SN Plus) / Purolator Boss PBL 22500
Advance Auto special (yeah laugh at me for using the Boss... what can I say?)

I cut open the used Ultra and it looked like a new filter dipped in dirty oil. No defects that I could see. I made a last minute run to Advance and bought two oil/filter combos of their Castrol/Boss monthly special. My Coyote survived a previous run of 9500 miles using a Boss so I'm not going to fret about it, even though I wish it was more efficient.
