It was after only one use as I install new ones every time. I don’t have any more VRP on hand. But I might try the soaking exercise later.
You could just pull the dipstick a few times to get some oil off it to coat a new drain plug washer. Or if you still have the oil bottle, put it upside down in a funnel to drain out the remaining over a day and you'll get a decent amount out.

That’s incredible to go that far and not have to add any oil! Those members here that call 0w20 “water thin” need to take note here 😃
But what was the change in the oil level on the dipstick over the OCI. If it went down over the OCI, then it used oil regardless if no oil was added over the OCI.

But even if the oil level was one quart low that would still be impressive for this mileage. And I don’t think Overkill would let the oil level get that low

Not assuming anything about what Overkill did, just pointing out when someone says "didn't add any oil over the OCI" it could mean the level went from full to low on the dipstick. Yes, even if it did use 1 qt in 12K miles that's low oil consumption rate.

It was pretty much still at the full line, if that helps.

AC doesn't work, tried filling Freon stuff
Put 2 used tires on the rear for now. Needs alignment. Used rubber ain't so good a deal as it used to be... $130 for 2 off brand whatever.
Car was my folks, after they passed I gave it to a single Mom. She is now suffering from terminal cancer.
I will do more when I can get the car again.

Good for you JK. I know exactly what you mean about prices of EVERYTHING now. It seems to me for the past 12 months everything I see is double what it cost before. YIKES. We can not win. Retailers don't even seem to care anymore to even blame anything for increases. At one time they would blame it on everything under the sun and of course the prices of fuel. Nice of you to help out. I’ve always wanted to try a purflux filter here in the states.

I also have a Fiesta ST

Does the mk8 spec a fl910s from the factory? Because if it does I’m going to chase one of those purflux filters down

The Mk8 specs the smaller filter, Ford part number H6BG6714BA.

The Purflux part number for the Mk7 is LS934.
