I posted this in automotive oil just to break the monotony but thought this would be nice to track all the new packaging and viscosities being used.
2018 Toyota Tacoma
Out 4 Qts 75w85 factory fill. 60,800 miles Came out nice and golden. And fast
In went Valvoline 75w90 synthetic GL5 from handy squeeze bags. These were indeed easy to use.
I have to wait on the front diff I need a bigger hex head. The way the old fluid looked and as little residue as was on the magnetic plug, I am not worried.
thrifty thought. Save a couple of these squeeze bags. Isn’t it odd that bags in boxes are cheaper but these cost more for gear oil?
