I've never heard about an e-transaxle. I'm curious what the difference in fluid properties are?

And is this transaxle that different from a standard transaxle?

Good call on the OEM though.

This product is substantially thinner than even Big Three ULV fluids.

~3.3cSt @ 100°C TE
vs
~ > 5.0cSt @ 100°C GM/Ford ULV.

I just rubbed some of this stuff between my fingers today and it is ridiculously thin.

I would describe the used fluid as being clear, a little bit dirty, and the consistency of rubbing alcohol, with a very slight oily film.

The parts guy at my dealership said this was the first gallons of the fluid he has sold to a customer.

My 2019 Lexus UX and my 2022 Corolla Cross took WS @ eCVT & Rear Differential.

This is my friend's daughter's Tundra that belonged to an uncle or something from Oregon or Idaho or ???
The diff had junkyard yellow pen writing; I think the truck was used for towing or something. Used rear seemed to be swapped in.

That nice M1 smoothed out the drivetrain! Love that stuff. Easy peasey 3rd member services on these trucks.

~65k vehicle miles.
Replacing newly installed Group III spec'd Toyota fluid KV100 3.3 1b copper corrosion rated.
Using slightly thicker KV100 4.6 1a & 1b copper corrosion Group IV & Group V HPL Teal.

1997 Geo Prizm (same as a Toyota Corolla)

Was changing the transmission fluid and learned these have a separate differential.

.7qt of nasty burned fluid came out
Refilled with 1.5qt Valvoline Dex/Merc

In: Valvoline synthetic with a little M1 75W-90 since I ran out and lost some to spillage.

No need to go fancy, owner of this car rides a bike everywhere in SF/Oakland and only has this for work and road trips. She giggled at the sight of oil in pouches. Else it would have been Extra-S or Red Line(usually my SOP).

2018 rogue.
I change transfer and diff fluid every year since the only hold 29 ounces together.
Out, was motul mineral 80w 90. Man was it horrendous with very little mileage. I probably won’t use it ever again.
In went Schaeffers 75w90 and wow! Dead silent transfer, unlike I’ve felt since new. I even did a double drain and fill to wash out the motul. I may have found my new fluid, unless this stuff breaks down as fast as motul did.
