Did the rear diff on the F-150:

Put in 75w140 Valvoline in+ Lubegard gear.

Don't think it was FF, looked decent.

The rear fluid and transfer case looked pretty good with both magnets fairly well loaded … the front end magnet could not hold another spec and that's where the silver fluid below came from:



Based on the Tahoe front differential oil (looked like thick silver paint) … decided to do the Z71 @ 7k
Rear was replaced with Delvac 1 75w90 … FF was black but magnet was half loaded.
Front replaced with Mobil 1 75w90 … FF was cloudy and magnet loaded.
Transfer case was replaced with Transmax MV Synthetic … FF looked good … magnet fully loaded.

Rx350 in my sig got rear diff and transfer case fluid recently at 55k with the liquid gold OE Toyota 75w85

The tundra got front diff and t-case with M1 75w90 and rear diff with conventional Castrol 80w90 with LSD additive per the manual (it specifies dino in the old LSD Tundras, oh well it works great still after all these years so I roll with it) at 160k

Both rolling along nicely

in Fuchs Titan Sintopoid FE 75w85 and in the m/t which has shared oil for center diff and front diff it got Fuchs Titan Sintofluid 75w80

in Fuchs Titan Sintopoid 75w90.

Drained fluid was clean, magnetic plug's had some material on it.

Out: Factory Fill - Nissan Differential Oil Hypoid Super-CT Synthetic GL-5 75W-90
In: Amsoil SVG 75W140 for both the front and rear differential's

That's some nasty looking stuff, what's the history on this Jeep? I assume it's seen some water in its day? How long have you owned it?
