1988 E-150 gear oil in service 25 years, and 62,690 miles. All my notes said was "synthetic 90w".

The stuff was red like ATF, nice and clean, and probably could have gone another 25 years. lol

This time I gave Valvoline 75W140 and some Ford LS additive a try.

Sorry about the angle of the pic, it's OK on my PC.

98 BMW 318Ti with late 80s 4.10LSD
Valvoline 75W90 FS, had some noise, drained after 30 miles and replaced Redline 75W90. No noise. I could have probably just added FM to the Valvoline.

98 Ford Explorer, 4.0L SOHC Cologne V6, factory 3.73 LSD, 125K
Out - OEM or unknown fill from the truck's past life in SoCal(it was in my adopted "family", it saw service by Mr. Lube in Orange County and probably was filled with Valvoline or Pennzoil). It was a quart low and muddy.
In - 3 quarts of "synthetic" 75W-140LS: 2 of them was Valvoline, 1 was ST. It was still low, so I topped off with 12oz of 80W-90 ST dino stuff.

2015 Odyssey Touring 60K miles
Out - factory fill, 4 quarts
In - 3.6 quarts DW-1

I always drain 3 quarts outta Hondas / Acuras.
Was surprised to drain 4 quarts.

Will do it 1 more time in maybe a week.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 - 58K KMs/36K miles

The fluid in the front diff still had a golden color to it, while the rear diff was dark/grey-ish.
