I guess this is new. I've never seen it before in my area. Very good. I love the citrus and nutmeg notes and very smooth going down.

I just read that this is their first new "Winter Beer" in 30 years!

I really enjoy the Samuel Adams "Winter Lager" and I look forward to it every holiday season. Hopefully, this one is as good or better.

Cheers! 🍻

I've begun the move to Stout season soon we won't see 30F for a month or two.

Yeah, it’s 5:15 pm here and it’s 73F. Perfect for a Lager or Pils.

I have some Samuel Smiths “Winter Welcome Ale” and the new Samuel Adams “Winter White Ale” to try at some point.
When the cooler weather settles in, I’ll have some of the Samuel Smith’s Stouts in the fridge. The Samuel Smith’s Stouts are top notch IMO. Especially the Oatmeal Stout! 🤤

Got the Sam Adams Winter Break Variety Pack. First up:

Strong espresso taste, within the framework of a stout. I definitely dig it.

edit: definitely some chocolate notes too. Yum.

That photo is making my mouth water!

If you like Stouts, I would recommend Samuel Smith’s “Oatmeal Stout” and the “Organic Chocolate Stout.” Both are brewed in Yorkshire, England, but they should be available at any store that has a decent import selection.

This stuff is hard to find during the holidays. Usually end up getting 1 or 2 six packs before it's sold out. A few years back I used to be able to find Shiner Candied Pecan Porter, and that stuff was amazing! This stuff is not as good, but still very festive and well flavored in the peaches and pecans dept.

Kirkland Lager. I expected a typical AAL, but the aftertaste is more floral. It was off putting at first, but after a few cans I can say I enjoy it. I would still prefer a Banquet.
