Post your latest beer consumption

Last day of work today - we go back to work on the 7th Jan. So, the annual end of year p*ss up. I started of with a Tui - East India Pale Ale, but spent the rest of the day on Woodstock, as I don't get to drink that often...not my preferred drink, but if it's free... Got home and one of my daughters has Greens Original Ginger Wine. At 59, it's a much more interesting drink than it was when I was 19....

The boss normally turns up and gives us an Xmas card with our bonus inside - today he turns up, presents the biggest loser award then shakes hands and buggers off. I got a raise this year, maybe that's enough for him.

New Glarus Serendipity 750ml bottle hands down one of the best fruit beers I have ever had.

Picked up another 24-can tallboy pack of Beck's. Tasty!

Last night went out to local firemans club I belong to and had real wings and a MAGIC HAT #9, very good, never had it before.

I went for a ride today, and stopped at a servo/cafe/campground for a feed and beer. Boundary Road Flying Fortress. Here's the blurb...

Flying Fortress Ale symbolises everything great about beer: a big taste, a graceful aroma and two massive engines on each wing. The malts are Pale Ale combined with chocolate and caramel variants while the hops are NZ Motueka and Pacific Jade. Ardmore Airport, just 5km from the brewery, was originally built for these beautiful behemoths. Adjust your helmet and strap yourself in.

These craft beers need a 6 pack savoured over a day to come to grips with them. A strong and complex taste.
