Doh! I'd love to catch a few pints of the Gumball on draft!

Stone's Emperial (sic) IPA.
Ballast Point Sea Monster Imperial Stout
Port Brewery PanzerPils
And in honor of BITOG: Port Brewery's "Old Viscosity" (the label says "not your old man's 30 weight!").

Picked up some S.A. Blackberry Witbier (sp?) Pleasantly surprised; it had a strong blackberry aroma, but mild flavor. Good summer blend to toss back.

High Life is the best cheap beer, by a mile IMO. Our wine/beverage cellar is not complete without a 30 pack of High Life cans.

Last night I opened up the first bottle of a homebrew IPA I made a month or so ago. Quite good, needs a little more time in the bottle to settle out.

It tastes weak, like a lite beer. I guess I'm just not used to it, but it's OK.

But it's the "Champagne of Beers".

I like the narrow neck bottles they come in, fancy!

Drinking Labatt Blue Light here currently.

Not even close to my favorite, but someone brought it over. The Canadian beer that has become the offical beer of Buffalo, NY.

True

and true.

High Life distinguishes itself from other cheap beers by possessing a modicum of interesting flavor. No it's not a hearty ale or amber lager, but it has a pleasant sweetness that raises it above the standard light beers and other cheap swill.

My favorite types are IPAs and robust porters and stouts, but I always have some High Life on hand. Sometimes a refreshing $0.50 beer is what you need.

That and the commercials with the delivery guy taking the High Life back from unworthy retailers are pretty funny

High Life is certainly one of the better cheap beers. I'll give it that!

Latest is some EZ Street Wheat from Odells in Fort Collins, CO. Thanks to my traveling friends looking out for me...

I used to be a Swiller Low Life fan, but discovered it gave me worse hangovers and beerfarts. I like Schlitz as a cheapie, it's got some flavor, or ice cold PBR tall boys.

With that said, sippin' on some Heineken right now...

"What kind of beer do you like?"
"Heineken."
"Heineken? [censored] that [censored]! PABST BLUE RIBBON!"

Pabst is good, and Schitz ain't bad either. I've been drinking a lot of King Cobra tall boys lately. We kind of got on a King Cobra kick around the office and it grew on me.

Schlitz - I drink that stuff a lot when I'm in Wisconsin. Same with Blatz. There's an old saying in Wisconsin concerning Schlitz and Blatz: If you drink too much Schlitz, you'll get the Blatz.

Just had my first Dirty Helen.

Barley Island Brewing Company, Noblesville, IN.

Brown Ale.

Unpasturized, unfiltered.

Pretty good.
