What is it

The glass is Yuengling.

So..off-camera, I had a Heineken AND that glass.

I don't usually drink, but I can feel different. More calm? More emboldened? The stereotypical Irish jokes maybe kicking in.. I think I'll go to sleep.

Second visit with The Dad is set, I'll redeem my free ticket tomorrow sometime, and he and I will likely see the Maverick movie at the same time. I'm likely slightly buzzed, so I'm not going out and driving to the theatre. That would be stupid.

See? A wise decision. Thought you'd never see the day.. lol..

I picked up a 6 pack of something that I’ve never tried before. It’s from Point Remove Brewing Co. in Morrillton, Ar.
It’s going in the refrigerator and I’ll be sampling it tomorrow.
Tonight, it’s just a plain ol’ Samuel Adams Boston lager. Cheers! 🍻

I spent a day in San Francisco with the kiddo and came prepared with Pliny the Elder. Kind of a fun day just eating and drinking on a budget. Tacos in the Mission but also McDonald's just to stay in budget. But before that I did have my first Irish coffee at The Buena Vista.

I did have a slight problem with it in that my planned drinking location allowed alcohol, but I looked around and didn't see a glass bottle or keg in sight. Lots of Solo cups though. I asked someone and they verified that it was the case, but they had plenty of Solo cups and offered me one to pour it and then hide the bottle back in my cooler. I took him up on the offer and gave about 4 oz of Pliny in exchange. Nothing quite like drinking Pliny out of a Solo cup.

Well as I said yesterday, it’s time to try it. I must say that this ranks pretty high on my list. It goes down easy and is slightly creamy. Good job Point Remove Brewing Co.! A picture of the brew and a description from their website. The description is spot on.

As crazy as it sounds, I was in the Beer distributor this afternoon and came across a 24 pack of “Genesee Cream Ale”.
5.1% alc/vol.
Ice cold and smooth……..almost fitting of the word “Creamy”.

Yep, that’s the only “domestic beer” I’ll drink. When I go to aunt and uncles this and PBR are huge up there 🍻👍

I think I like the Becks more than the Modelo. Been about 5 years since I experimented with beers. Always came to the conclusion, "I don't drink." I do feel stressed lately.

Does one's ethnicity dictate what kind of beer one likes? Did not know Kirin beer was part of a Mitsubishi mechaconglomerate... Sapporo and Kirin = Japanese.

"All beer tastes the same" ??

Here is my Becks. It's like Heineken Lite.

Back in the fridge to get colder...

Had a Tsingtao on the 25th with Vietnamese dinner. Can't recall when I had a beer before that, probably the early part of March.
