Continental TrueContact 205/55R16 for the 2011 Civic EX-L. Made in the USA
I mounted and balanced them at work. We put the same tires on the 2023 RAV4 last April and have somewhere between 25-30,000 miles on that set, and they’ve been great, so figured we would put the same tires on the Civic.

Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse AT LT275-65R18 for the Ram. Scored a family discount through my wife's uncle who works for Goodyear. Pleasantly surprised by my first visit to a Goodyear chain store. Done on time, no upsells, alignment check was included (within spec), and when I got it back, the torque on the lugs was spot on. After a bad experience with a Firestone store a while back, I always check the lugs after buying new tires. So far so good on the new ones.

Installed Michelin CC2 on a friends ‘15 Camry. 215-55r17. They replaced a set of well worn Kelly tires.

The Kelly tires were a surprisingly good tire, even down to the wear bars - they had notable rain grip still and drove well but needed a little mild rebalancing. I say all this because the CC2 had a similar noise and NVH profile to the Kelly’s that came off, until hitting potholes and larger road surface problems. The Michelin CC2 swallowed up the hits gracefully while the older Kellies hit hard.

I know other models are giving the CC2 some competition, but man it is a really good tire.

Which KELLY tires ?
I’m pretty sure it was the Edge All Season. Surprisingly good down to the end. Probably didn’t make the rated mileage. I think they were probably a 55k mile tire, and I’m guessing she got about 50 on them to the wear bars. Still, to have good wet traction down to the wear bars is pretty rare … they gave full traction to the end. Respect.

Ok, I got set of used wheels that had Michelin Defenders LTX M/S on. They had 6/32 and actually did exceptionally well in rain for tires 6yrs old. I was thinking to keep them this season and ditch them.
Not so fast. I fpund on one some kind of buckling or belt damage on the sidewall:

So, time to shop. I was toying with the idea to try Good Year Adventure with Kevlar in C load range, which would allow me to get some more sidewall strength for off-roading, but keep comfort as close as possible to regular tires. Then was thinking just P rates AT tires. But came to the conclusion that with a baby, we will probably be very limited going off road for the next 2- 3 yrs, and 99% of the time I will spend on the road. Snow performance is irrelevant, as I have snow set.
At Discount Tires, they tried to sell me Pathfinder tires. I was there to balance used tires when we discovered damage on the sidewall. And regardless of the fact that I told the guy I am looking for Continental Terrain Contact or Michelin Defenders, he was so stuck up to sell me this brand, apparently made by Hankook, to the point where he said: It is better than Continental.
OK, now you've started to insult my intelligence, time to go.
Went home, ordered online on the Costco website, Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 116T XL. I am thinking that with the robustness of that tire plus XL sidewall, it will cut on some off-road stuff that we might venture. If I decide to do some real off roading here in CO (I might) i will get used 17” or 18” wheels and slap some E rated AT tires (cheaper).
So, ordered online and the delivery date is 05/12-19. I am like “hmm, doing road trip to Vegas on 05/20, but whatever.”
An hour later, I get an email that the tires are in the center. Great! Call them, they immediately scheduled me for 04.45pm yesterday. It was raining really badly too, great!
They install them, DOT 1125, EXCELLENT! That is why I like Costco tire purchases. I always get really fresh tires.
Got out, bit slippery from all the grease on tires. By the time I was home, the grease was gone. Excellent grip in wet conditions. I can’t make Sequoia in RWD only, to spin wheels when stepping on gas from a standstill on wet. The braking is excellent too.
Today we got some snow. Great, try that too :). They just plow through water and slush!
So, we will see how they're gonna do. I am expecting great performance on the road. We will see what happens with occasional light off-roading.

2018 TacomaTrd off road south 92400 miles, total. off general grabber at2 s with 5 years and 52k miles. They stopped wearing chemically hardening and cracking due to age heat and miles. Enjoyed them till they degraded. Tread looked great but that would be a bad bet for safety and performance.

On- Cooper Discover ATP 2s. On the five mile drive home they already felt better.

And sadly many people that have not researched, really have no clue or desire will be swayed by that. They are newer, mostly round, much better than name brand, made in same factory and cheaper. It upsets me when I see people getting taken advantage of that way.

Guys like that fuel the slimy salesman reputation and doesn't help people that actually are looking for advice.

Replaced the atrocious tires that came on the Titan.

Off: Predator New Mutant 33x12.5R20
On: Michelin Platinum LTX 285/60R20

Thought about going 295/60R20 but they were $240 more! Also, at 33.9" would have even more rubbing concerns. I like the stance/look just fine. My priorities were a tire that balances well and a quieter ride.

Haven't put any miles on them yet, but full review incoming. One interesting note; I don't believe the Predators were true to size. The height can be affected by pressure, tire wear etc; but I measured them at just under 32" with 10/32" tread remaining. The Michelins are 33.4" and it's noticeable as I now have a tiny bit of rub on the front mudflap. New Mutants in the back and will be resold for cheap (y)

Wheels / tires looking good!!! I bet the ride is a thousand time better w the LTXs
Thanks! Only driven less than a mile (discount right by my job) but even in the parking lot it felt "softer". Also, no groaning on low speed turns :) Going on a long freeway drive after work to really get an initial impression.

The tread pattern looks funky to me from the first time I saw them. One of my employees put them on his Tundra and was very happy.

Absolutely agree, i've never seen anything like it. I don't mind it on the truck. Has the appearance of looking a little more aggressive than a normal HT, and I really don't need an AT for my usage.

New set of Michelin Cross Climate 2's from Costco for our 21 Pilot AWD.

Also used a DA to knock down some high spots from the curb rash with the old tires still on. I used a clear coat pen to seal the sanded surface in hopes to keep the clear coat from lifting.
