Post your Gas Mileage : Calculated

48.7 mpg... if I ride it real nice, I get 54 mpg.

Yep... that is on a Honda VFR1200X. I've got big paniers (side boxes)... so I can run all my errands and carry the groceries home.

Figure I am the equivalent of $2.50 gas

Giddy Up, Joe you Waterhead... You just made my summer, forcing me to ride a motorcycle everywhere. Outstanding!!!

Now I just have to convince the wife to go on a date night on the bike! hahahahaha

2015 F150 3.5 EB indicated: 24.4 actual: 21.9
2014 Tahoe PPV 25.2. Gotta do it again as I think it was a fluke.
2008 Crown Vic PI 17.3

The Crown Vic really makes me scratch my head. 3.27 gears shouldn't make it get 6 less mpg than a civilian model.

Last full tank got me 35.63 mpg, about 95% hiway driving. That would have gotten me about 600 miles on the tank with a nice, comfortable reserve. Very pleased.

'13 HONDA Fit base w/ 5 speed auto . Driving Mix : 55/45 . Avg. Temp : 63 . This fill and previous for both cars are TOP TIER . Hopefully that is , due to shortage of additives . Not sure as of now .

2016 Tucson 1.6 turbo. Just completed a trip and got 32.3 mostly highway.
The highway was hard running up to 80. I could have gotten better if I had cooled my heel.

* Today I read the ACCENT sedan and VELOSTER N are being removed from the U.S.. What a shame :( . The '18 Accent handles and rides very well . It's also comfortable to drive . All that for under $17,000 ( w/ 6 speed auto , lower price for 6 speed manual ) . The low price helped with lower car payments and the gas mileage contributed toward the loan .

That’s a real shame. I like the Accent. It’s a very handsome car, this current generation. It was discontinued in South Korea, for the ugly Venue. Which costs more too. I guess they expect that will take it’s place here too.

RIP Hyundai Accent. 1995-2022 😭

I wonder if Kia is killing the Rio? I’m glad they kept the Soul around. It just got a mid cycle refresh and I think it looks much better than the 2020-22.

The ACCENT caught our eye and it's possible the RIO sedan / hatchback could be dropped . Big is in , small is out :( . Like the looks of the VENUE . . Strongly considered the SOUL , but the issues with the engine , C.V.T. , I.S.G. and other problems steered us away .

I have a 2002 Blazer with 108K miles and the original plugs.
I was getting 14 to 14.5 mpg.
The fuel pump went bad and after it was replaced including a new fuel filter I'm now getting close to 16 MPG with the same driving.

Pretty impressed with my new accent. 154 miles, 3.42 gallons. So 45mpg basically. Mixed suburban driving so definitely not hypermiling or ideal conditions. My average speed is usually 29mph for a tank. Only 300 miles on it so it isn't even broken in. Tires are at 36psi, I believe the door says 33psi.

I do drive with the chauffeur method, as if you were driving some fancy person around trying not to disturb them. The smooth acceleration and braking along with looking ahead to avoid wasting energy is very conducive to fuel economy.

2017 Honda Accord Hybrid
14.8 gallon tank
556 miles - short trips 75% city driving 25% rural/freeway ambient temps between 60-80 F. Still had 77 miles of range left when the low fuel light came on. This would mean just under 3 gallons left with two before hitting reserve.
11.901 gallons of 87 10% ethanol
46.72 MPG hand calculated

On board average between 44-47 mpg which is consistent with hand calculations. With how much I drive it's nice only having to fill up once a month
