lets see
2021 Nissan Versa 1.6L non turbo CVT
Tank size 10.8 Gal.
averages under various loads:

40% city 60% highway w/Ac ~ 38 mpg
Without/ ~40-41 mpg

100% highway w/Ac 40.6 mpg
W/0~42

Best: 43.4 mpg*

*=(43 mpg achieved when traveling with the wind and no cargo, at reasonable speed. 65-75 mph)

^[&] when traveling against any wind over 30 mph...efficiency at highway speeds is reduced about 2 mpg. negligible loss at low speed driving.

Hand-calculated, with a mix of 25% city, 75% highway driving for both vehicles in practically ideal weather conditions (SF Bay Area).

2015 Civic (R18, 25,000 miles): 39.0 mpg

2008 CR-V AWD (K24, 109,000 miles): 27.9 mpg

A/C on auto and speed with prevailing traffic flow in both cases.

The 2011 Ram in my signature. This was short trips to work and home with one 87 mile round trip out of town. I turn off the MDS every time I get in the truck. This is after my fill up this morning.

303.6 miles / 17.782 gallons = 17.07 MPG

The wife's new Gladiator Rubicon 3.6/8spd is getting 16.6 combined 70/30 highway/city. This truck is a gas hog. The Grand Cherokee with the same motor gets 22 under the same driving conditions. I guess Rubicon with it's 33" tires, 5000 curb weight and non aero body shape is the reason.

19.57 in the 1200km from Saskatchewan to the interior of BC. Then to Vancouver and piles of city driving and then back to the interior my overall average dropped to about 19.2.

This is in my 3500 with the Cummins and driving aggressively to keep up with traffic.

Wife's Accent: 247.6 miles, 5.39 gallons, 45.9mpg

This is a loop starting from a gas statin near our house, 125ish miles north then back to the same gas station. Mostly 65mph, no A/C needed. Some stop and go in there but mostly cruise control time. Pretty ideal conditions. Still very impressed by the MPG on these new accents.

Filled up the Maverick today w/ 91 octane E0. 524.9 miles / 12.800 gallons = 41..01 mpg.

The tank measured wss 89 oct E10

Yesterday after the fill up above with 91 octane E0 I drove 115 miles 70% - 70 mph interstate, rest was 60 mph rural 2 lane with out stops. Mileage on dash said 42.9 which is probably 41sh mpg hand calculated. This is 2-3 mpg more than any other leg of 95% highway driving the Maverick has done. On the final stretch coming home from the country which was 34.7 miles with 20ish miles of interstate 8 miles of 60 mph road and 4 miles of under 50 mph city boulevards. The mileage for the trip showed 46.1 mpg , 8.3 miles electric . Most of the trips were in 20mph side wind conditions, with tailwinds for about 15 miles and a direct headwind for 15 miles. No A/C used on return home trip. Interstate speed was 70mph.

Does anyone else think the E0 fuel and the higher octane which Ford "Recommends" are the reason for the higher mileage?
