Bought the TECHNICS receiver in '79 . That was the 1st receiver I bought along with TECHNICS turntable with the belt . Speakers were PANASONIC 2 way with passive woofer .

They are the black metal 7s' . They look to be wanted due to their size . Going for around $100 a pair . You can find them on Y.T. , interesting topics .

This was from October 29th:
Distance travelled: 442.9km (275.2 miles)
Fuel consumed: 81.4L (21.5 gallons)
Gas mileage: 18.38L/100km (12.8 mpg)

However, this tank looks to be a lot worse (don't mind the TPM warning, this was before I put my snows on):

11/16/25:
Total Distance: 259 Miles
Fuel Consumed; 9.456 Gallons
Gas mileage: 27.4 MPG

Total miles on CX5: ~53750

Running average tracked by Fuelly: 24.7mpg

This was nearly all highway at 75-85mph, half of which was driving into at least light wind. I probably would have gotten closer to 30-31mpg if I had driven more conservatively during the day trip I took, but the highway was wide open, and the music and weather were good!

'25 KIA SOUL ( Gravity Gray ) : 2.0 Ltr. ( M.P.I. ) w/ I.V.T. : Fill of winter blend Top Tier 94 w/E10 @ 1 click of nozzle . Avg. Temp : 35 . T.P. ( Cold ) : 34 . 1st full tank with 4 new GENERAL Altimax 365AW ( V-rated ) 205/60-16 . Not much difference in F.E. with the 365AW and the O.E.M. 205/60-16 NEXEN N'Priz AH8 ( H-rated ) . The SOUL above still has the NEXEN N'Priz AH8 . So , both are close for now .

This weekends fillup in the 2025 - F150 Hybrid. Colder temps and me driving with a heavier foot take its toll.

Still 20mpg + is pretty good for this porker of a truck.. All back and forth to work and very little highway.

The info in the black box is what the trucks dash reports.

2025 Honda Pilot @ 11,439 miles. This is the best fuel mileage yet:
302 miles
12.929 gal Shell Premium (No Ethanol (scored!))
23.36 mpg

This was the last leg of our 1200 mile trip from home to Wisconsin this past Saturday. The sun had set and this stretch of road is isolated and very dark, so slowed to under 70mph because of the high potential for deer playing chicken with passing cars.

The Pilot is a far cry from aerodynamic. At 80-ish mph, fuel mileage averaged around 20-21mpg on this trip. We've been getting ~16mpg around town,

2003 Honda Civic EX 5MT 190805 miles
Tank was run from 11/09 to 11/27 with my typical 70/30 city/hwy ratio
357.5 miles, 11.744 gals = 30.4 MPG

Year-to-date: 6897.3 miles, 224.782 gals = 30.7 MPG

Filled up the BMW motorcycle before the cold locked in on Wednesday. Another fill of 93 octane Amoco Ultimate. Got her tucked in the corner. Probably won't ride again for awhile. Long term weather prog charts say most of December below 50°.

The 2016 Impreza sedan got 8.9 l/100km on the last tank with the roof racks and ski box on. It adds quite a bit of drag!
I took it off and then got a 6.9 l/100km tank...
This fellow estimates ~20% increase in drag with racks and a ski box on his Subaru wagon, and in my few tanks I'm getting closer to 28% decrease in mileage.

Also on short trips, it is not good! I think it needs a thermostat as the coolant temp will stay 150-160f for 5-6-7 miles driving easy on the highway, but once it get warmed up to 180f+ it will stay up above that for the whole time, and the mileage gets much better.
