Saw a thread that wasn’t intended to be a group photo dump but thought this could be a fun thread to start. So post your recent photos and a little background on your vehicle including oil being used and maintenance history if possible

I’ll go first 2010 Ford Crown Vic 4.6 V8 118k miles on the clock with unknown past maintenance history other than that it was a local department cruiser ran a round of amsoil, Valvoline EP, Valvoline PBE and now HPL 15w40 CK4

Why would anyone care what it looks like... down your (or anyone else's) oil fill hole, or a picture of a jug of motor oil in a "Post your latest oil purchase" thread, or a picture of a pan full of dirty used motor oil and dented oil filter in a "Post your last oil change" thread? These are all just useless nonsense threads IMO, and IMO only appeal to people who have too much time on their hands and nothing better to do. Facebook is the place for this kind of mindless drivel (which is one major reason why I shut-off my Facebook account).

Why do you feel the need to post in a thread you don’t wish to participate in? Sounds like you have some sort of character flaw that may need to be addressed in a more formal setting with people who are trained to help you cope with whatever or whoever it is or was that hurt you

If you don’t like it don’t participate? Simple as that no one forced you to click on it but for some unknown reason you are actively trying to cause issues

2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4.0L V6. Bit of an oldie, taken a couple years ago. I use random oils on sale, sometimes top tier synthetics, sometimes 10w-30 HDEO, other times conventional like Chevron Supreme. I've used 5w-20 a couple times in winter, but usually stick with 10w-30 or 5w-30.

Typically a 5-6K OCI due to short trips and infrequent driving-- equates to roughly bi-annual oil changes.

Rear bank is much darker in color, presumably because that's where the PCV valve is located.

All in all it looks good it’s interesting though seeing the front being spotless and the back being just a little stained wild how the PCV can cause that to happen

Taking part in the spirit of the thread starter before it's ruined.
BMW made of GOLD! Dealer oil (Castrol, Pennz, or ?) to 100k, Castrol to 122k, M-1 Euro 5W-40 for a week now.
2k with HPL cleaner oil got rid of the small amount of carbon on the springs.

MB 3l turbo diesel @153k miles. Just soot in oil, nothing to see here folks.
Fuchs from the factory and first dealership change, Castrol for the rest of it's life.

Both look very good, I requested the thread be locked but maybe that won’t be necessary if things continue to trend in a positive direction
