Weekly my 2004 Focus 2.3L stick gets 29-30 mpg. If, and that is a big IF, I could keep my foot off the gas it would be 31-32 mpg but the car is too **** much fun to drive quick. The 91 626 stick gets 34 mpg every week without fail. Coming back from Las Vegas the 2004 LeSabre 3800, last Sunday, got 28 mpg and if the route were completely flat it would have been 30 on the 585 mile trip.

I've actually been getting a 23.1mpg average out of the Ranger driving back and forth to work (15 mile country driving). I usually get about 21 in the Acura, but I tend to drive the Acura a bit more aggressively. All E10 around here. 93 in the Acura 89 in the Truck

Mazda CX-5 2.5 SkyActiv AWD. Latest average is 31.4mpg with a rough 50-50 Hwy/city routine.

I’ve noticed a slight bump in fuel economy since the change to Idemitsu 0w20. It could also be that the winter gas is being changed to summer blend.

99 GS400. 11.2mpg on my less than 6mi, all city, round trip work commute. It'll see low 20s on the fwy.

A year ago it was 22-23mpg on an empty freeway cruising at 90, 84mi round trip work commute

2007 Ford Fusion manual 2.3L 4 cylinder.

Been getting 24mpg with approx 70-80% city driving.

100% city usually ends up at 23mpg or 22.8-9.

Most of my driving is short trip 3-5 mile trips on 35mph roads. I guess my short drain intervals make sense in those contexts.

How long is your commute? I've yet to see anything like that kind of MPG. The best I've done so far was 27.5 during a long run of highway cruising, though I'm still below 7000 miles on my CX-5.

Is that number calculated, or is it via the onboard computer? If so mine has been very optimistic with its calculations most of the time.

Ranger 20 around town 24-25 highway trips.
4Runner 20-21 mixed driving (no long trips yet).
B2500 Van 18-19 mixed driving 19-20 highway trips.
F150 16-18 mixed driving 19 highway trips.

2021 Toyota Venza. Averaging 42.9 MPG on first two tanks in mixed driving. The MPGs have exceeded my expectations so far.
The car had 40PSI in the tires from the dealer, but l haven't deflated to the recommended 33PSI yet, but may do it to compare the difference in ride quality.

2013 Mazda 6 2.5 with a plurality of highway miles.
- Current MPG: 32.5, the dash MPG meter is pretty close as I tracked it by hand for a while.
- Generally get 30+ when the temps are above 40 and 28+ when below freezing.

2000 Honda CR-V 225k - 23MPG due to roof basket, upsized A/T tires, and small leveling lift. Gets 25MPG if I stay at 70MPH highway.
2006 Toyota Camry 3.0L 200k - 28MPG Highway, 20MPG around town. Japanese "Buick" with plenty of oomph.
2010 Volvo XC70 3.2L 258K - 22MPG average, 28MPG Highway.
2009 Toyota Tacoma SR5 2.7L 70K - 17MPG consistently, due to being a short tripper... 47k miles over last 10 years...
2006 Volvo XC90 2.5T 145k - 22MPG average, up to 28MPG highway.
2003 Lexus IS300 220k - 18MPG on a good day... It's driver can't keep his foot out of it. When I had a 2001 IS300 it got 19MPG around town and 27MPG Highway.
2009 Infiniti M35 200k - 19MPG average, 25MPG Highway.
