Yes my older comeorkers wife put coffee, hot cocoa and Christmas candy in it with scarf as gift to me last year.
My friend uses one like on the right but different temperature.

Free from Repco with purchase of oil. The oil light is heat activated. Shame the V logo is a little scratched but I guess it was free.

The only thing that would make it better would be if the oil light symbol was visible when the cup was cold/empty instead of when it’s hot. And if it was dishwasher safe.
There’s also Castrol, Penrite and Nulon versions but I can’t afford to buy a jug of each brand just for the cups.
Which oil would you say is most affordable?

There were a number of oils on sale including mineral but it’s over now so I’m not sure, but it was AUD $50 (USD $32) minimum spend to get the free mug.
It's the Z-7 that gives it the coffee taste.

My double wall borosilicate coffee glass along with a few of my coffee makers and hand grinder. I have a bunch more coffee makers of just about every type you can imagine except drip. I roast my own coffee too.
