Very nice! What oil and OCI did you use?

Got the vehicle recently. Don't know what previous owner used. I put Idemitsu 0w20 in it. So far so good.

No, I must have had one of the good ones. I bought it used in 2006, 10 months and 6,200 miles after the original delivery. I changed the oil every 7k or so with either Super Tech or Formula Shell 5w30 (both were synthetic) and it ran like a top. Now my brother-in-law has it to haul junk around. I would have kept it a few more years, but the kids are getting too big for the back seat, and their stuff is getting bigger too...

Pennzoil SM Ultra. Just using up my stash.
Fourteen years of road course track days, estimating 200+ hours accumulated. It's tired and has earned a rest.

1991 Ford Ranger 3.0 with 354K.
1996 Mercury GM 4.6 218K.
My present 2007 Ford Fusion with 233K.
All were lubricated with M1 oils at 10K OCIs.

2005 Explorer 4.6 V-8 with 195,000+ miles. It runs great, all original major components. The rust is my nemesis unfortunately. It kills me to drive an otherwise cared for vehicle that's rusting severely, but I'll keep driving it for as long as I can. Thus is the joys of living in "Saltlandia", aka NJ
