So much talk about pipes and rear ends and whatnot is borderline lewd.
A double espresso and a cig does it for me every morningI took some duicolx last night ..... My tail pipe is nice and clean this morning.....
That looks really good. They made tips years ago that had some sort of orange insert in them. They were from some famous brand.I get reamed on the GTI forums for painting mine red.
I thought it looked pretty cool, like the Ansa exhausts of Ferrari from years ago. They thought otherwise.
Actually a sack of White Castles and a Big Red works too........A double espresso and a cig does it for me every morning
Also it added them out of order so the second pic is the Cutlass with lots of soot in it...the Silverado tailpipe is the one with mud all over the outside. It has nothing inside it at all. You can wipe with your fingers and nothing comes off except maybe some dust.Differences in lighting, etc., make the photographs difficult to compare.
The inside of my tailpipe stays amazingly clean, despite being connected to an engine of which many examples (not mine, so far) are notorious oil guzzlers.
They are just jealous they did not think of it before you did.I get reamed on the GTI forums for painting mine red.

That's more like what I'd expect mine to look like. Where is my soot?Original tailpipe on 2008 suburban with 6.0 LS engine at 235,000 miles. Does not use oil between oil changes at 5,000 mile interval. Basically black with soot. The lighter stuff is mud.
