Poll: What do you think is the most "difficult" timing belt to service?

did they fail visual inspection at 100k miles as required per the tech manual which required the replacement?
No- the bike only had 50K on it but it was 10 years old when I did the belts. I was doing other work to it which had most of the plastic off anyways so I figured I'll just replace the belts and check the tensioner bearings.

Sounds like your shop is one that only does the bare minimum in order to keep costs low.

But really, replacing the timing belt only sounds like a terrible practice. At the minimum, do the tensioner and drive belts.
At the dealer I worked at we basically always did just timing and drive belts. We’d let the customer know when we were in there if they had any other concerns…leaks, pulleys, tensioners. This was on Hyundai and Subarus. Chryslers we sold the whole deal upfront because they almost always needed it all. But Hyundai Subarus didn’t usually need anything else till their 2nd or 3rd belt job.
