Pirelli P4 persist AS plus?

Thank you. Some people complain about poor wet performance, the tires slipping from start at stoplights, even with under powered cars like the Corolla. Others say the tires are noisy and it does have that weird all season like tread pattern. I'm sure the tread life is great though and they will last at least 60k miles.
I've had the Pirelli P4 Persist tires on a Hyundai Elantra for 4 years and ~24,000 miles and a Honda Accord for 32,000 miles. They have provided superb traction in wet and dry conditions while remaining quiet and comfortable. Barely any visible tread wear even after 32K miles and no degradation in operating/handling/traction characteristics. To me, they are right up there with the best Michelin all-season tires.

I have not noticed any of the above issues

Put about 300 miles on these on a 2005 Sienna. They ride the typical Pirelli smooth but with a touch more noise. Took a Bay Area storm in stride. They don’t brake with the urgency of a Michelin but for the price we paid, I’m more than happy - and I feel confident for my 70-something parents to roll on them when they do their summer camping trips.
