Any automotive applications where I could use this stuff? Was thinking on threads or caliper slider pins.

The ONLY application I'd recommend is as a sealant on tapered pipe threads such as some drain plugs on manual transmissions and differentials. Never on caliper slider pins that need a high-temperature moly-based grease.
