Looks nice, but why didnt it sell to the point that it needed to be liquidated? Past rental car?

Not even for a second. My grandmother's Grand Caravan was a previous rental car. 1 year later and it has been flawless.

I guess so. It seems like such a waste to get rid of it, it's still a fantastic car. I'd get in it today and drive it to New York without even thinking twice about it.
But I wanted something newer and nicer, my Camry is smashed in the back corner too, so the value is basically nothing.

I live with my aunt while I'm in college. She has 2 VW's and an Avalon...
I've got the Buick and Jeep at my grandparents right now. Buick is up for sale and the Jeep is waiting for me to work on it over there.

I've got a stash of Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w30, Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30, Pennzoil Ultra 5w30 & 10w30, Castrol GTX SynBlend 5w30, and various other oils. Haven't decided yet lol.

If the dealer were willing to part with this car for a mere ten grand, imagine how little they must have had in it.
I'm looking for a cheap DD commuter for the last two or three years I'll spend working and something like this Sonata would be great and a definite step up from the new Sparks and Mirages that you can find in the same money ballpark.

After I signed the papers the salesman said they were actually losing out on $900 by liquidating it at that price. Not sure if that's true or not, don't see why he'd lie after I signed the papers. He's a supervisor there too with 5 people under him, not just a shady salesman.
It's incredibly comfortable. At one point I considered a Mirage too but this 2 year old Sonata is 1000x the car of a brand new Mirage.
I also considered a Cruze. The cheapest 2015 Cruze within 200 miles of Phoenix is $1,000 more than I paid for this car, and it's also smaller.

Agree that a mid-size like this Sonata is better proposition overall than the tiny, tinny Mirage or Spark.
