Pic Heavy: My project build, BMW V8 Tbucket

After weeks of datalogging & tuning, it's become evident the supercharger wasn't making much if any boost. I most I logged was 102kpa in an 84kpa atmospher, so 2-3psi of boost.

Started with trying to reduce belt slip by way of adding a tensioner to the slack side of the belt. Utilizing a spare BMW belt tensioner, and replacing the hydraulic damper with a mini-cycle coil over.

This has drastically helped the power & torque output around town. Datalogs aren't showing much boost increase but I also haven't really got into it yet. Max logged is 120kpa, so roughly 6psi over atmosphere. However the efi wants to add more fuel while accelerating even under 84kpa MAP. So, more air flow must be moving through the engine.

On the tensioner, I'll try to find a slightly weaker spring so that the pulley has a bit more travel as well as I'd really like to find an aramid cord serp belt, which is proving tough in my size. But we're getting there, one piece at a time.
