PEP BOYS and Kendall synthetic

Hello to all,

I ad noticed today that PEP BOYS had a bunch of Kendall GT-1 "Titanium" synthetic oil on the sale table for $4.50/quart! If any of you guys/gals like this oil then head to PEP BOYS in your local Los ngeles area and get the last that they might ever have. For this price it was an excellent bargain. I picked up 6 quarts for my next OCI in another 500 miles.

I wonder if they'll every sell this oil in the future since they got sold and bought by another company???? It's after all rated DEXOS and is approved for Chrysler/GM.

I'll be in Los Angeles tomorrow. Which Pep Boys are you referring to? I've gone to many here in San Diego and a couple in Los Angeles and they've all stopped carrying it.

I was at the one located in Culver City on Sepulveda. Bear in mind these were on the sale table located in the front near the cash regrister. PEP BOYS must have had a pretty good stash in the warehouse and under the new owners they want to clear out the balance. Good luck to you and remember they were on sale/marked $4.50/quart

Thanks a lot Durango. I'll check it out tomorrow. I might stop at a couple of Pep Boys tomorrow on my way to Los Angeles and check to see if they have any in stock. Great Oil for a great price.

Most likely there just trying to empty there warehouse under the new management. It's now one of the only oil products I can afford now a days AND admit I would rather buy this than the PEAK synthetic no matter how much Danica Patrick looks on TV.
