Pennzoil emailed me a pdf file containing the Pennzoil Platinum Product Data Sheet. I remember a few BITOG members stating that they could not locate this on Pennzoil's site. Here it is, copied and pasted(I couldn't find a way to attach a pdf file on here):

PENNZOIL

PennzoilÒ PlatinumÔ full synthetic engine oil with superior Active Cleansing Agents continuously attacks potential and
stubborn deposits to help keep the engine clean. It also contains special protective additives for our superior engine
protection that exceeds USA and European industry standards like ILSAC GF-5, API SN and ACEA performance.
PennzoilÒ PlatinumÔ is designed to provide our superior cleansing under the most severe driving style or conditions to
maximize engine responsiveness.
FEATURES & BENIFITS
• Superior Active Cleansing Agents.
• Keeps pistons 40% cleaner than the toughest Industry Standards1
• Cleans out engine sludge better than our conventional and synthetic blend oils2
• Better for severe driving conditions than our conventional or synthetic blend oils3
• No other leading full synthetic oil provides better wear protection4
• Backed by the Pennzoil lubrication limited warranty.
• Exceeds the most stringent car manufacturers requirements for cleanliness and protection5 – including GM dexos 1.
1 Based on ILSAC GF-5 and SEQ IIIG piston deposits using 5W-30.
2 Based on severe sludge clean up test using 5W-30.
3 Examples of severe driving conditions are stop-and-g driving, frequent short trips, extreme hot or cold temperatures, excessive ideal,
driving with heavy loads, driving in dusty conditions.
4 Based on Sequence IVA wear test using 5W-30.
5Based on ILSAC GF-5, Ford, Chrysler and GM specifications.
APPLICATIONS
Applications include:
SAE 0W-20 – Recommended in some hybrid vehicle applications and a limited number of low temperature
applications and all vehicles calling for 0W-20 GF-5 motor oils.
SAE 5W-20 – Many current and recent OEM recommendations including many 2001 and later Ford and Honda, and
later Chrysler, Nissan and Toyota applications.
SAE 5W-30 – Many of the remaining US and Japanese vehicle recommendations including General Motors, Suzuki,
Subaru, Hyundai.
SAE 10W-30 – Several specialty and truck applications for different manufacturers. This was the predominant grade
of oil in the mid-1990s and is still recommended for some higher temperature applications.
SAE 5W-50 – May be recommended for some performance and older vehicles and in some higher temperature
applications.
Always consult your owner's manual for the correct viscosity choice and specification grade of oil required. Viscosity
recommendations often allow a range of viscosities based on local temperatures.
SPECIFICATIONS & APPROVALS
PennzoilÒ PlatinumÔ exceeds the requirements of the following industry specifications :
• North American warranty requirements for U.S., European and Japanese cars and light trucks with gasoline
and gasoline turbo-charged engines where API SN and earlier API categories are specified (all grades).

5w-50 is what one of the big marketing ploys was based on, I remember reading it in fine print at the bottom of the jug...

Lucky,me. I just go the oil page and download the pdf. I do it for Mobil oils, too.
