I'm not sure either. Maybe more SS and AN, different/more additives or typo. I still can't get 5w30 without VII even with more tweaking today.

I have the impression from here and many other sites that many people believe that M1 5W30 has no VIIs. However there are many people that believe that believe many things that I know that I don't know. I appreciate the discussion though. Thanks all and sorry for redirecting the thread.

Here's a nice 10w30 blend: 67% SpectraSyn® 5 16% SpectraSyn Ultra® 150 8.5% Synesstic® 5 8.5% Synesstic® 12 62.0 cSt @40°C 10.0 cSt @100°C VI 147 No VII needed.
