In that case, several strategically placed firearms would be a good idea. Semi-Auto, pistols, carbine, and shotguns. In WA have been 5-6-7 crooks

Or better just be a really good shot. A PCC with a relatively short barrel is what I can shoot rapidly and accurately, but pistol too.In that case, several strategically placed firearms would be a good idea. Semi-Auto, pistols, carbine, and shotguns.
Bad guys regardless of size or numbers don’t have the sauce for a fight. Any sign of resistance and they are gone. Lots of evidence of this out there. There are plenty of cases of senior citizens and soccer moms with a handgun successfully thwarting off attackers not prepared for a tough night at the office.Or better just be a really good shot. I never know the real details, news articles don't have that level of information.
Total surprise and overwhelming force most likely.
Pretty sure the news plays those cases down. In fact I know that for a fact.Bad guys regardless of size or numbers don’t have the sauce for a fight. Any sign of resistance and they are gone. what is this?My Mossberg clone HD only holds 5 shells. If I need more than that I need to head for the range.
Never assume that. That assumption could be an invitation for a burial plot.Bad guys regardless of size or numbers don’t have the sauce for a fight. Any sign of resistance and they are gone. Yeah I see what you’re saying. Mindset that the worst will always happen. I get it. But not everyone is going to able tool up and train up to the worst case scenario… However the entire gun community acts like everyone is in need of hundreds of hours of training and a decked out ARs with gear to protect themselves. And I think it does a disservice. There are financially, struggling single parents out there, looking for a way to protect themselves. Or elderly couples not physically capable of handling a long gun. Average Joe’s defend themselves every day with little or no training and small arms.Never assume that. That assumption could be an invitation for a burial plot.
Likely so. But I think people up play it on our end as well.Pretty sure the news plays those cases down. In fact I know that for a fact.
Pistol caliber carbine.PCC?
Is this like calling everything a "platform" or a "system"....
Can I get the non-corporate speak non-acronym version...?
I keep a loaded Ruger Redhawk 44 mag and a 12 gauge Remington shotgunOne has been gaining a foothold in the market for self defense in the home, and the other is a classic. Personally I have both, which are a CZ Scorpion carbine, and a Mossberg 590a1, 20 inch by the bed.
Running and reloading a shotgun properly is hard to do, and many do not lack the skills to employ the weapon at close ranges quickly, but still hold firm that it is best for self defense.
Others opt for a PCC due to accuracy and ammo capacity.
Opinions?
Ah so an AR6951...Pistol caliber carbine.
cool other than it is vs shotgun....not pistolPistol Caliber Carbines vs Pistol..........Pistol here.
