PBS: What are UFO's?

The Truth is Out There!
I've been intrigued by the subject since the 70's as a young teenager when my uncle enlightened me.
Looking forward to see how this unfolds (I think).
The difficult part is sifting through all the junk.
I'm sure you have all seen "unacknowledged"

Ms Alex Deitrich made the most sense with her comments at the Boulder Colorado university where she teaches, about 47.15.

"Think critically, folks."

This PBS video simply rehashes stuff from the last five years or so. If there was supposed to be something new here, I didn't see it.

Another interesting comment was, and I paraphrase: "Something has been observed; we just don't have any physical evidence."

I can only ask, has anyone explained this;

This video reminds me of another military base UAP. Some type of flying orb, pretty sure it's not a lost party balloon:

Can you imagine what was going through the mind of anyone who saw that from the ground or from the cameraman?

In earlier times I'm sure these would be considered demons etc.

I also believe there may be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe that humanity will never make contact with.

First off, I don't know anything about physics, but this whole quantum entanglement phenomena interests me. Having 2 entangled particles, somehow be able to instantly affect with each other, no matter where in the universe, to me sounds like some kind of faster than light action.

Maybe there could be something more to this which could allow FTL travel or observation from lightyear type distances. Maybe there is more physics out there to discover than we know about, I sure hope there is.

Nothing new at all but explanation for the public who are not familiar with FLIR cameras and viewing

The problem with observing one is that you have to be looking up. Think about how many times a day you do that, and then you would need something to observe to coincide with the exact time you are looking up.

It's the 10% or so that are of interest, coming from very highly respected, mentally sound individuals. Many are actually scientists themselves. The remaining 90% is garbage - planets, stars, meteors, space junk, drunks, people that need their eyes checked, charlatans and grifters.

Don`t sell yourself short. I`ve been following the phenomena since the fifties, still waiting for proof or at least a decent picture.
I have seen one. I still had my Hyundai. Was on a Friday night in June-July as I could still see the last bit of sunsets around 9ish. Was around 10pm, and it probably was floating less than a thousand feet above( probably closer to 500 ft but since I'm over 6 ft tall I give everything else the benefit of the doubt) and it had green yellow red light bulbs on it but the way it was spinning the lights it could change the way they went, the direction and everything. I was stuck with nothing more than a flip phone and I was too focused on the image of whatever was hovering above that I couldn't even get away from it visually to even try to get my phone out to take a picture of what I saw. The only other person I told was my mom about it and she believed me because the look and sound on my voice was almost hysterical.

Do I think they are real? Probably. Are they from a different planet? That I don't know but if they are and they're coming here looking for intelligent life form I think they're going to be sadly disappointed. It's not to say that I haven't done some dumb stuff before like urinating on an electric fence, but the way is a hole that Humanity treats each other there's nothing to be gained and taken back to their Homeland they can make them prosper.

We are doing the gold and precious materials mining for them that they need. We're workers.....

I used to think that the UFO-s were all military craft until the NASA live feed from the orbiting camera was canceled. It captured footage of a projectile from the surface targeting moving objects and the evasive maneuvers by these objects in the late 90-s.

They were labeled as "dust particles in front of the camera" and soon the live feed was terminated.

Wonder why that flying saucer is canted? Are the drivers drunk? Many tout these things as "physics defying vehicles" Why the cant? Why not just have a cloak? They are clearly not part of the United Federation of Planets, and have a treaty with the Klingons, to not incorporate a cloak on their ships. Idiots! I would have a cloak for sure. Right #1 @Vil_Riker ?

One thing that has amazed me, looking at these pictures is the variety of the crafts. Ill bet there are over 100 different models flying amuck, by the photos anyway. To me this seems a bit weird. I mean, are there 100 different species of aliens coming to this planet? I would think that if an alien species had the technology and understanding to travel the great distances required to get here (barring the issues of collision with space debris and time dilation, etc) that they would not be doing it in so many different floor models.......

So, it seems that something is just not right, or at least one of the following is true(including but not limited to):

1.) it is all fake
2.) aliens, just like humans like their choice of POVs, ford vs chevy thing, mopar madness, etc
3.) there are 100s of alien species interested in touring our planet, and in the past 70 years, have just not decided to take our stuff.

I wonder which of the above is most likely to be true?
