PBS: What are UFO's?

To me, UFO's and UAP's are somewhat akin to Bigfoot.
I have never seen a Bigfoot. And IF they are real, I don't care to meet up with one.

Most likely case. I think it's the 1% that are most interesting and compelling. I personally believe some of these individuals, but that's as far as it goes. I've never seen anything unusual -UFO/paranormal etc. I'm pretty agnostic on most of these issues. We're beyond stories now and really not much progress has been made other than we've had more high level people speak out on it. It's no longer a tin-foil hat topic.
Any belief can be dangerous. Critical thinking skills are part of it, for some people. Billions of people believe in many bizarre, crazy things far more "paranormal" and "crazy" than thinking someone may have found something out we haven't; or something beyond our understanding. I'd put aliens/ufos as pretty benign in terms of the "craziness" element. Thinking a higher intelligence could in some way be interacting with our world is not a crazy idea. A lot of these people are military pilots and former military people. If they're lying they're some of the best actors I've ever seen.

I just want a nice, zoomed in, clear color video/picture.
Certainly something is going on, too many things to explain that cant be explained but I cant explain anything, show me a photo that I can understand and see with my own eyes. I actually have an open mind. However I need to see it. I saw how it behaves on multiple surveillance devices including our airplanes chasing it.
Im not so sure why we think humans are the end all of everything intelligent, sorry but I dont subscribe that we are. We are barbarians and will be looked at like that in 1000 years, should we not destroy ourselves first. I suspect "these things" will help protect those worth protecting.

Exactly. We have cellphone cameras that can take a pretty good picture of the moon from the ground....there should be no excuse for blurry images now.
Maybe, maybe not. There may be 4k video of them per Lou Elizondo. They may also exhibit tech that enables them to be avoided. Who knows. We're looking this through the human lens. We're really just a bunch of highly evolved primates with advanced weapons.

I don't just believe what anyone SAYS. In fact, less likely to believe some leader type clown.

Time will tell. More stories aren't going to cut it that's for sure. People start tuning out and you're technically right.

It's a good question. Are they sending us tech to RE for our own benefit?
Prior to 2017 I never believe the US had some type of crash retrieval program RE non-human craft. Lou Elizondo brought that out to the forefront in 2017 in his NYT article. I never bought into that. Some are orb like, some pop in/out of existence and disappear, some can apparently cloak. Then you get to the crazier stuff like alien abductions etc.
Does the government really know though? If so, it appears to be in private sector hands.
The most plausible explanations in order (to me) are:
1. They're all top-secret military tech (although we didn't have this in the 40's/50's)
2. They live in Ocean.
3. All the whistle blowers are grifters with mental issues.
4. It really is NHI, even if it's only 1% of the cases.
The problem is physics as we know it doesn't allow for anything to reach us. Unless "they" figured that out.
